The Invention of the Zedge.

Z-EDGE® was invented by a former kicker.

The kicker first developed and patented a kicking shoe, for Nike called the Long Shot. The success of the Long Shot led to the creation of Z-EDGE®. The pro coached soccer, baseball, and football in the little leagues and realized that the product coul be used in all those sports.  So he took the patented technology of the Long Shot and put it to work into the Z-EDGE®. He created a revolutionary device that would enhance soccer performance and safety for baseball and football players. New patents for the Z-EDGE® were secured and the release of the new product is now ready for the Fall of 2006.

The Z-EDGE®, in field tests has proven, that it improves ball control, ball velocity for soccer, foot support and foot safety for all the other sports. The Z-EDGE® keeps shoelaces tied and tucked during play and can be used as a soccer-teaching device.

The safety application of the Z-EDGE® became apparent when the inventor showed the Z-EDGE® to some of his NFL lineman friends. The linemen expressed interest in wearing the Z-EDGE® during games to help protect their feet from being cleated. Johnny
Bench tolt the inventor that baseball players should use this to protect the top of the foot from being struck with foul balls.
